The future stability of any community depends on the quality and commitment of its leaders. Leadership enrichment courses are taught on a regular basis for pastors, teachers and community leaders. Identifying leadership qualities in students attending primary, secondary and senior schools, presents us with opportunities to prepare them to become leaders of future generations.
A united group of men and women are learning high-yield gardening techniques and preparing for development of a large sustainable farming community.

Monday and Friday afternoons are set aside for womens fellowship. They participate in arts and crafts and learn various skills that could help produce income. Women pastors and teachers are able to up-lift well deserving women who work hard every day to provide for their families. A sense of unity is created during time of togetherness and the ladies are refreshed with joyful hearts as they escape the daily struggles of poverty. Semi-annual women's conferences welcomes hundreds of women for days of revival and great teaching.
A mentoring program for boys age 10-18, designed to develop good moral character and behavior for at risk youth. Regular fellowship and biblical teachings and vocational training has proven to be effective as the young men currently involved have gained a very good reputation and respect in their school and community.
Understanding the potential of young minds, young hearts and young hands, we have adopted Lake Site Primary school in an effort to enhance the arts program teaching music, dance, drama and poetry. We seek sponsors to help pay school fees for many children. The students have been challenged with the task of renovating their school and have been diligent and joyfully embraced the challenge. These activities have fostered a sense of purpose, pride and appreciation for their school. We strive to cast a vision of a bright future in the minds of these children and help make learning exciting and fun.
Since March of 2020, SPREJA has provided over 10,000 prepared meals and more than 8000 pounds of beans, rice, sugar, salt and flour and about 2000 pounds of fresh vegetables from our gardens. Future plans for land purchase and a farm will defray the expense of purchasing much of the food provided.
Located in the heart of Masese, the SPREJA Foundation office complex offers space for neighborhood meetings, training programs, weddings, receptions, a bible school and worship services. There you will find a community vegetable garden, meditation gardens, a safe haven for abused women and children, a baptism pool and a place of refuge for the weary
The average household income in Jinja, Uganda is $100 per year. This sponsorship program seeks sponsors willing assist families with necessary finances to survive without turning to thievery, prostitution or other means of survival.
